Drive along the pastoral stretch of Boulder Park Drive where you are surrounded by tall trees on both sides of the street. Herbert Greene Nature Preserve is to the south and KIJIJI ATLANTA is across the street to the north. You see the backlit KIJIJI ATLANTA sign seated on a wall of rocks that have been in that spot likely for hundreds of thousands of years. As you enter the impeccably landscaped drive, you are greeted by Concierge, welcoming you Home. You continue at a gentle pace admiring the architecture, while waving at neighbors, who are now close friends, as they walk along, deep in conversation. You look to your right beyond the retention pond and see neighbors out for an early evening jog. You reach your usual parking spot and upon exiting your car you are immediately struck by the freshness of the air along with a cacophony of sweet aromas wafting by; its springtime and flowers are abloom. You move along the walkway surrounded by flowers bursting with colors and enter the courtyard where a group of neighbors are together for dinner. They all immediately and cheerfully greet you, while asking you to join them. You tell them you will return for dessert. You continue towards your Mabawa Ya Tai style house and stop to admire the beautiful houses all in various African-centric aesthetics with rich cultural representation. Although you have now experienced this sight many times, you continue to see something new, feel a fresh calmness and a new spirit of thankfulness, knowing that your decision to live at KIJIJI Atlanta was the best decision of your life…that feeling of belonging and pride towards your African heritage.
